Advancement Systems
The Office of Advancement Systems helps foster relationships with alumni, parents, faculty, staff, organizations, and other friends of the University of Richmond by supporting the operations of the University's advancement offices, including alumni and career services, development, and university communications.
We seek to provide outstanding service and maintain the highest professional standards with respect to the confidentiality of information and privacy of our constituents, including compliance with legal and professional standards such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Payment Card Industry Date Security Standard, and the Donor Bill of Rights.
The Office of Advancement Systems is comprised of two departments:
Advancement data services: with responsibility for the university staff experience, training, access and use of advancement's major database of record, ultimately serving our alumni, donors and university staff both within and outside of the division of advancement.
Advancement interactive: with responsibility for our alumni and donor's experience and user interface with the various front-facing, vendor-provided data systems that facilitate online alumni and donor engagement.
