Welcome to Advancement Services!

Advancement Services helps foster relationships with alumni, parents, faculty, staff, organizations, and other friends of the University of Richmond by supporting the operations of the University's Advancement Offices, including Alumni Relations, Development, and University Communications.

We seek to provide outstanding service and maintain the highest professional standards with respect to the confidentiality of information and privacy of our constituents, including compliance with legal and professional standards such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Payment Card Industry Date Security Standard, and the Donor Bill of Rights.

Services We Provide:

  • Recording and receipting individual and corporate charitable contributions, including administration of the corporate matching gifts program
  • Biographical data entry and management, including date integrity and enhancement
  • Standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Training on Advancement Services data systems, services, and reporting
  • Coordination of Banner Advancement with other Advancement data systems
  • Coordination of Banner Advancement with other Banner modules
  • Partnerships with offices throughout the University community to help provide and enhance services for alumni and other constituents
