Founders' Brunch 2008

On October 12, 2008, members of the Founders Society enjoyed brunch at the home of President and Mrs. Ayers. This annual event was an opportunity for Dr. Ayers to thank the members of the Founders Society for their dedicated support of the University. The featured speaker for the brunch was Dr. Woody Holton, Associate Professor of History at the University. Dr. Holton offered intriguing remarks about his newest book, Unruly Americans and the Origins of the Constitution, which was a National Book Award finalist and was recently awarded the Virginia "People's Choice" Literary Award.
