Scholarship Donor Recognition Luncheon

On Friday, April 3, 2009 more than 325 donors and/or contacts, representing more than 100 endowed scholarships joined more than 100 student recipients of those endowed scholarships for the annual Scholarship Donor Recognition Luncheon held in the Robins Center.  Heather Stebbins, '09 offered remarks about the difference recieving the Quincy Cole Memorial Scholarship in Music has made in her Richmond experience.  Fletcher Stier, Jr., R'48 offered remarks about what inspired him to establish two endowed scholarships, the Anna Dinwiddie Stiers Memorial Sholarship Fund and the Fletcher Stiers Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Nanci Tessier, Vice President for Enrollment Management, spoke of the incoming class of 2013.  Representatives from three of the five newly endowed scholarships were presented with certificates of appreciation.
