Westhampton Center Cornerstone Setting Ceremony

On Thursday, October 23, 2008 more than 200 Westhampton College enthusiasts joined together in celebration of the Cornerstone Setting Ceremony for the new Westhampton Center scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2010.  Remarks were offered by the Rector of the Board of Trustees, George W. Wellde, Jr., B’74, Dean of Westhampton College, Dr. Juliette Landphair, President of the Westhampton College Government Association, Generra Peck, '09, Joy Winstead, W‘55, Kimberly Bowers, ’05, and Dr. Edward Ayers. Even though it was an overcast and brisk fall day, the atmosphere under the tent was full of warmth and enthusiasm about the new Center.
