Richmond's Student Calling Program
When Richmond's student callers contact you, they will convey current University news, answer questions about Richmond today, and talk about the importance of continued private support for UR.
Who are our student callers?
Our students are hired by the University based on their interest in talking with a wide variety of alumni, parents, and friends about their personal experiences at Richmond. They represent each of the academic colleges as well as Westhampton College and Richmond College, and they are involved in most aspects of campus life.
If you receive a call from one of our students, take the opportunity to inquire about the University today, learn of current news and events, and share some of your favorite memories of campus.
When do the students call?
Students call throughout the academic year during the evening and frequently over the summer.
Do telemarketing laws apply to Richmond's Student Calling Program?
Because the University of Richmond is a non-profit organization and has a prior relationship with those we call, telemarketing laws do not apply. However, if you do not wish to receive a call from a student, you may request that via e-mail at annualgiving@richmond.edu.
