Gifts through your will and other deferred gifts are extremely important to the future of the University. These gifts—sometimes called planned gifts—include many different options, depending upon your financial situation and goals.

In many cases, a planned gift can offer a “win-win” opportunity for both you and the University by providing tax and income benefits as well as a major gift to Richmond sometime in the future. Donors often find that, through a deferred gift or a combination of outright and deferred gifts, they can make a much larger gift than they ever thought possible.
