Giving Societies
Quatrefoil Society
The Quatrefoil Society recognizes the University of Richmond’s most generous benefactors whose transformative philanthropy over time has helped shape the University since its founding in 1830. Members are permanently recognized on the Quatrefoil Society wall in the University Forum overlooking Westhampton Lake. The inaugural Quatrefoil class was inducted in 2008.
Robins Society
The Robins Society is the University’s newest giving society, launched in January of 2019, and recognizes those loyal donors who have made gifts to the University in consecutive years. Robins Society members understand that gifts to the University each year, and at all levels, help fund the University’s ambitious agenda. More than 8,000 individuals comprised the inaugural class of the Robins Society and we look forward to welcoming new members into this group in the coming months and years.
The Charter Associates: University of Richmond’s Legacy Society
The University of Richmond recognizes those who have helped secure its future by making gifts through their wills and other deferred gifts. The University welcomes these alumni, faculty, staff, and friends as members of The Charter Associates, and we acknowledge and celebrate members annually as valued supporters.
Named Recognition
Campus Spaces
Naming opportunities exist for buildings, named spaces within buildings, and on the campus grounds.
Endowed Funds for Student Support
The most direct way to support students is to establish an endowed scholarship or a summer fellowship fund. Naming opportunities exist at established levels.
Endowed Funds for Faculty Support
Meaningful, named support of the University is available through funding the positions of our most accomplished faculty—Endowed Distinguished Chairs and Endowed Chairs.
